Rich Gwilliam's digital shed
I always imagine Drupal as a stalwart, pedestrian kind of CMS; that might be because once upon a time its bells and whistles were largely back-end, every interaction hidden behind a page refresh. Not the case any more, and to be honest with the wealth of plugins available for it, probably not necessarily true at the time.
I've developed a few plugins for Drupal myself over the years; mostly bespoke ones offering automatic quote widgets, custom nodes, that sort of thing. I've built more Drupal-based websites than I can count, though; I've been using it the full eighteen years and it says a lot that it's still a viable choice.
I've been using Drupal since May 2007 (18 years).
